A friend names his companies and web sites by suffixing “Works” - a reference to Ben Richards, who ran Lockheed Martin's secret research department “Skunk Works”.
I started my career working on Westland Lynx Mk7 & 9 - so Lynx Works. I find the name amusing because the Lynx we had didn't “work”.
